Serving Locally ...

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1

God so richly bestows His blessings on His children.  Even in the trials, He is with us.  We are His handiwork - His people.  Don't we wish everyone could receive God's bountiful blessings on their lives?  You know ... they can ... but only if they hear about God's goodness from someone.  How will they hear??  Who will tell them of the mercy and grace God wants to bestow on them??  God commanded that we love one another ... We need to show that love to those lost souls that are around us every day.  Sometimes it's hard to tell someone about the free gift of eternal life. We face rejection and anger ...  but we are to boldly proclaim the gospel.  What is a little rejection or a little anger, if that person turns from sin and self, and turns to Jesus?  You may not even see that person come to the Savior, but you'll have planted a seed.  So, today plant seeds of kindness in someone's heart.  Turn to that family member, friend, acquaintance ... whoever it may be ... and ask them, "Do you know the Savior?  Can I introduce you to Him?"  Remember .. the person you talk to may someday thank you in Heaven for caring for them enough to share the Good News of salvation!

Our Missionaries ...

Tori Barrett (Missionary to Zambia): Pray for Tori as she works with the children and staff in the school in Zambia.  Pray also that she will remain healthy as she returns to her duties in the school there.

Todd & Kathy Beaman (Missionaries to Zambia):  Pray for continued good health for the Beaman family.  Pray also for their ministry in the towns and villages that are around them. 

Dexter and Denisse Guin (Missionaries to Colorado):  Please continue to pray for the Guins as they continue to serve the Lord in Colorado.  Pray for the work to be done to their building and the clearing away of all obstacles in the process.  Pray for Dexter's health and continued growth of the Church.

Don & Ruthie Harris (Missionaries to Argentina):  Pray for the Harrises as they continue to witness, build relationships, and bring souls to the Lord! 

Jon & Patti Hutchins (Missionaries to Brazil):  Pray for the Hutchins as they start a new Church plant in northern part of Porte Alegro.  Pray they will find a good location to rent for their services.

Rob & Cyndi Moody (Missionaries to Nova Scotia):  Pray as the Moodys continue to serve in Nova Scotia.  Pray that the ground will be softened for them, and they will bring many to the Lord.

Bill & Christy Reynolds (Missionaries to Rhode Island):  Continue to pray for the Reynolds as they serve in Rhode Island. Pray that hearts will be opened to the Gospel, and the Reynolds won't grow weary in well doing.

Missionary of the Month ...

Kim & Chris Kuhr (Missionaries to Holland) :  The Kuhrs have long had a heart for the lost in Holland. They will finally be going to the field God has called them to.  Pray for them as they make their final preparations, say their goodbyes to family and friends, pack up their belongings and have what they need shipped over to Holland, and then prepare to leave the U.S. on June 27, 2008.  Pray that they will quickly find housing and a vehicle when they arrive. 

During the week of July 5-12, they will be working at a teen camp in Holland.  Pray for fruit as they start their service for God in Holland!
